Bio
Libby shijia liu is a fashion designer who speciallying on visual art, fine art, AI art, and multi-materials in fashion. She will graduate from Parsons BFA fashion design major in 2024.
In her design projects, Libby combines different art techniques, both digitally and physically, with natural elements and traditional handcraft techniques like ceramics, felting, knitting, and natural dye. She is an expert in experimenting with new materials on fabric manipulation to create visually attractive effects on garments.
She is a designer who cares about the female community and consistently considers the female body silhouette in her designs, featuring gentle and smooth curves. In her design there are often multiple elements of collage structure and layers of different materials overlay.
