Bio
Fares Alsaiyari defines himself as a maker before a designer. His work is a continuous study of technical design and craftsmanship. He builds a world around himself by learning how to construct everything involved in the making process. He builds the tools used to build something else, each result feeding into the next project.
His design process focuses on the relationship between products and humans. He studies the body anatomically to build in reference to it. Craft and bespoke making remains at the core of his practice as means of proper production and creation of an intimate relationship between the maker, the product, and the user.
